Under the fluorescent lights, the collagen, botox, crows feet and wear were all evident. Shaky, self-conscious & unimportant. The night, like a soft filter transformed her from being a less than interesting specimen to a goddess. Like a Cereus, she came to life with the night. Imagining her existence in the day was actually preposterous. To her, this was day.
