CMJ 2010 RECAP PART 1 – BACKSTAGE BAR

In their second gig of this year’s CMJ showcase, the Papers blasted off at a jam-packed Backstage Bar–formerly the Annex — on Orchard Street in the heart of their LES stomping grounds.

Crushing it with a high-octane 10 song set, the Papers kindled the crowd with Berlin, fanned the flames with a slew of sexed-out new hits–Downtown Girl, Girls on Bikes, and Return Flight, among others–set ‘em up for the knock-out with a rollicking cover of Rosalyn, and burnt the spot down with their anthem, Jackie.
